California was a fun state to learn about!  We really got into the redwood forest study and loved the book Operation: Redwood (it even featured a homeschooled family, to our pleasant surprise).  The Golden Gate Bridge was a favorite as well as learning a bit about Death Valley (who could ignore something with a name like that?).  We also learned about the Gold Rush around this time…they definitely want to go try to pan for gold! I hope you enjoy this collection of California Children’s Books!

Be sure to check out the other 49 states!
